Hi Michelle & Blake,
Can't imagine all that you are going through, medically, emotionally and financially. We are really concerned for you Blake and all that you have faced thus far. We know you are in good medical hands and that you have a very caring family and especially your Mom by your bedside always. I'm sure it's hard for Dad & the boys to not be there quite as much but of course someone has to care for them and hold down the family fort when the Mother Hen is away. Good job your doing Michelle at bedside nursing of your boy. We would like to try and stop by for a short visit on Monday evening as we are already on Wolfe island for the day for our families Thanksgiving / Christmas dinner and celebration. I have a sister, brother-in-law and niece & husband and family living on Wolfe Island and they are having the gathering at their home and this year it's our turn to bring the main supply of food and the rest fill in with all the extras. I have two sisters and we each take a turn doing the main dinner preparation year about. Our arriving in kingston from the Island all depends on what time we finish dinner, clean up and pack up all my dishes and what ferry we are able to catch to Kingston. Accordianist from Campbellford, Elly Kelly's husband Joe is battling cancer and is presently in KGH until Tues. for treatment. we would like to pay him a visit also if we can get there in time before visitors time is up. If Blake is not up to company we could just talk to you for a bit. Would Jon be there in the evening on m,onday as I would bring some nice thanksgiving food from our celebratin for him to take home. I'm sure there will also be lots of dessert as I myself am taking 7 homemade pies and there'll be other desserts. You & Blake could have a pick before he leaves for PE County. If you could e-mail me at waylin@sympatico.ca to let me know if jon would be there so I can prepare the plates before i leave the Island. We pray that God will soon make your burden lighter Blake and with your new medication that you will soon be on the road to improvement and able to cope with daily life in a much more positive manner. Hang in there boy, you can do it, just like you conquered the fiddle, you will conquer this challenge too. We believe with God's help in guiding the medical professionals and the love of your family & friends you will be improving soon. Happy Thanksgiving and we're sure you are thankful for great medical and hospital staff and for friends and family and medicine and we truly hope to see you on Monday evening.
