It's 2:40am.
Blake and I returned home from Picton Hospital about half an hour ago.
He was given Buscopan to settle the stomach spasms and given some pain killer along with some fluids by I.V. He rested well while receiving those bags of meds & fluids.
Dr. J. sent us home and said to contact our G.I. Specialist in the morning and that they should have no problem in getting us into Kingston Hospital rather quickly. Blake laughed when the doctor left the room and said to me, "Well HE obviously doesn't know [Dr. D's secretary] very well!" We chuckled.
Nurse Ann (who was in the delivery room with me for Jared) was very kind and helpful. She sent us home with Tylenol 3's. She also left his I.V. site intact just in case we had a problem through the night and had to come back in. "That way, we don't have to stab him again," she said. Then she told me that I could just take it out myself in the morning. Should have seen Blake's face when I told him THAT! hahaha. Guess he doesn't think I'm a very good nurse! haha. I actually told Ann when she started getting things ready to start his I.V. that it won't be long and I'll be able to start the I.V.'s MYSELF! I've watched them do it enough over the last ten months. Blake did not like that idea. haha
Well, I'd better get to bed. Mr. Rooster will be sounding the sunrise alarm in no time. Hopefully my next post will be from Kingston General! Please pray for that!
Good night...... I mean, good morning! :o)
